DIANA KAZAKOVA

is a singer, actor and producer based in New York City. An extensively trained singer, she has played lead roles in numerous musical theatre productions, and has done solo concerts as a folk artist across the continent.

Diana recently performed with the Indigo Girls as part of the Grammy Women Who Rock Festival, and with Enya on Live with Kelly & Ryan on ABC. As the founding lead singer of The Bjorkestra in New York City she toured the east coast, and as a solo artist she has performed in concerts and music festivals across Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Europe. A folk singer at heart and by trade, she also has many years experience in both choral music and musical theater . Other notable performances include guest vocalist with The Canadian Tenors and the Touring Cast of The Lion King, and she was worked with and performed with many notable music industries and Broadway performers.

Her new release THE RESET: ambient folk for tangled times, is an acoustic offering from the heart of a global pandemic. This album was recorded in the East Village. With so much chaos in our networks… this music encourages a return to a more natural hum of being. In collaboration with Agnes Kowalski (producer and therapist), this unique album will be released worldwide.

Her next album – THE CHELSEA HOTEL & OTHER STORIES will feature Ben Smith, (Heart/Roadcase Royale), Katie Kresek (Adele, Beyonce), Peter Stroud, (Sheryl Crow/Sarah McLachlan), Richard Hammond (Hamilton/Joan Osborne), Ben Butler (Sting/George Michael) along with many additional inspiring players from across the continent, including members of the infamous Yacht Rock Revue.

Diana has performed lead roles in over a dozen Equity musicals and plays including Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar, The King and I, Snow White, Street Scene, A Christmas Carol and many more. Her short film series Dolly Dreams and Friends has won festival awards and includes the short film Bird Grabbing, which was seen by over a million people on Frontier Airline’s in-flight showcase. Diana is also the voice of countless commercials and documentaries on radio and television

An esteemed Producer, for The Loft Series in NYC she has worked with top musicians, singers, dancers, and actors from around the world. Other producer credits include A Night with Q featuring Quincy Jones and Steve Jordan, A Great Night in Harlem at the Apollo Theater featuring Tony Bennett, John Mayer, and Keith Richards. Time Warner Studios present Drake and P Diddy, A Night at BB Kings featuring Danny Glover and Bruce Willis, A Night for the Soul featuring Chaka Khan, Roberta Flack, and Macy Gray, The Health Expo with Dr. Oz, The Caravan Music Collective, United Nations of Hip Hop, Battle of the International Bands, and The Magical Black School Bus Project and many more.

An in-demand voice teacher and vocal coach, she has worked with performers from various Broadway shows including Hamilton, West Side Story, Lion King, Kinky Boots, Rock of Ages, A Bronx Tale, Bullets Over Broadway, Pippin, and Spiderman. Her vocal studio also includes Television and Film actors, as well as emerging professional artists.
